Here is the English version of the story:

The Broken Pearl Necklace
In the middle of a lavish reception, an arrogant woman approached a young girl in a simple dress with pure disdain.

«You look ridiculous wearing that here. Take it off!» she cold-hearted demand.

«It’s the only memory I have left from my mother…» the girl replied, her voice trembling.

Without a shred of mercy, the woman tore the necklace off her neck, scattering the pearls all over the polished marble floor.

A well-dressed young man immediately knelt to help pick them up. As he held one of the large pearls, he noticed a unique crest engraved on its surface—his own family’s emblem.

«This mark belonged to my aunt who disappeared years ago,» the young man said, looking at the girl in shock. «Where did you get this necklace?»

«She said it was the only proof left from her before she died,» the girl explained, handing him an envelope containing an old photograph and an official document. «My mother said this woman forced her to leave the family.»

The young man examined the paper, his expression instantly hardening.

«This isn’t just a confession,» he announced, raising his voice so everyone in the hall could hear. «It states who truly owns this entire fortune!»

The woman who had snapped the necklace froze as the room fell silent, watching her years of deceit unravel in an instant.
